Personal Info:

I completed my degree as Geologist at the University of Cluj-Napoca. After my PhD on the mineralogy and petrography of high temperature skarns (Paris / Louvain-la-Neuve),

I have been working at the C2RMF laboratory (Le Louvre / Paris) on the characterization of archaeological objects (ceramics, glazes, Egyptian faïences, glasses, etc).

I joined the archaeometry group in Fribourg in 2008. I am currently working with mineralogical and petrographical techniques on various archaeological materials: alpine soapstones, ceramics, medieval pigments, etc.
