Basement
: my interest lies in the reconstruction and understanding
of the evolution of the last 900 Ma of the Silvretta
nappe by detailed field mapping and petrological,
geochemical, minerochemical and isotopic analyses.
Archaeometry : I am studying, in an interdisciplinary approach, materials found in archaeological excavations or in/on buildings such as ceramics, rocks, pigments and mortars from all periods (Neolithic to recent).The aim is to find the provenance of these objects (local, import?) and to reconstruct the ancient technology using microscopic, mineralogical and chemical analyses.
