tectonics - geodynamics
Research in our group is directed towards the understanding of the geodynamics of passive margins and mountain belts. We study plate-tectonics, tectonics, neo-tectonics and morpho-tectonics and links with surface processes.
Research is
carried out with strong international collaboration
and areas of interest include the Alps, Prealpes,
Scandinavia, the North and South Atlantic, the Ardennes,
the Tethyan mountain realm, North Africa, the
Great Caucasus and the South Caspian Sea.
