The Bachelor program (BSC) in Earth Sciences is a balanced mix of general and courses in natural sciences and general and specialized courses in earth sciences. The Bachelor includes practicals, laboratory work, seminars, excursions and field camps. Each student has to write a bachelor thesis.  The Bachelor has 180 credits (ECTS) over a period of 6 semesters. Courses are a mix of French and German and start with the autumn semester in September of each year.
