Archaeometry

I completed my degree as Geologist at the University of Cluj-Napoca. After my PhD on the mineralogy and petrography of high temperature skarns Paris / Louvain-la-Neuve).
I have been working at the C2RMF laboratory (Le Louvre / Paris) on the material characterisation of archaeological objects (ceramic, glazes, Egyptian faïence, glasses, etc).

In 2008 I started to work in Fribourg in the archaeometry research group concerning mineralogical and petrographical analysis on ceramic, soapstone, slags, glasses, etc.
