Fribourg (Switzerland) is located between the international airports of Geneva, Zurich and Basle. One direct train to Fribourg is leaving per hour from each of these airports. Timetables can be consulted on the Swiss Federal Railways site. The journey from Geneva to Fribourg takes approximately 1½ hours by train or car (highway exit “Fribourg Sud�). From Basle or Zurich, you will need less than two hours to get to Fribourg.

From the Fribourg railway station, it takes about 10-15 minutes on foot to get to the Geography Unit.The offices of the Geography Unit are located in the University building n°14 at the end of the Boulevard de Perolles (2nd and 3rd floors).

The Geography Unit can also be reached by means of public transport, just take the no 1, 3 or 7 bus in front of the railway station and get off the bus at “Pérolles-Charmettes�. Timetables can be consulted on the TPF site (Transports Publics Fribourgeois).

Fribourg (Suisse) est situé entre les aéroports internationaux de Genève-Cointrin, Zürich-Kloten et Bâle-Mulhouse. Des trains directs sont en partance chaque heure en direction de Fribourg. Les horaires peuvent être consultés sur le site des CFF. Le trajet en train ou en voiture (sortie d'autoroute “Fribourg-Sud�) dure environ 1h30 depuis Genève et 2h00 depuis Zürich et Bâle-Mulhouse.

L'Unité de Géographie se trouve au fond du boulevard de Pérolles, à 10-15 minutes à pied depuis la gare de Fribourg. Nos bureaux se situent au deuxième et troisième étage du bâtiment de géographie (bâtiment n°14).

Pour se rendre de la gare à l'Université de Pérolles en bus, utilisez les lignes no 1, 3, ou 7. Arrêt “Pérolles-Charmettes� . Les horaires peuvent être consultés sur le site des TPF (Transports Publics Fribourgeois).

Freiburg (Schweiz) ist zwischen den internationalen Flughäfen Genf-Cointrin, Zürich und Basel-Mulhouse situiert und mit stündlichen Direktverbindungen der Züge zu den Flughäfen gut erreichbar. Die Reisezeit mit Auto (Autobahnausfahrt “Fribourg Sud�) oder Zug beträgt etwa 1½ Stunden nach Genf und rund 2 Stunden nach Zürich und Basel-Mulhouse.

Die Lehr- und Forschungseinheit Geographie am Ende des Boulevard de Pérolles kann vom Bahnhof Freiburg in ca. 10 bis 15 Minuten zu Fuss erreicht werden und befindet sich im zweiten und dritten Stock des Geografiegebäudes (Gebäude Nr. 14).

Um vom Bahnhof mit dem Bus an die Universität Pérolles zu gelangen, können die Linien Nr. 1, 3 oder 7 benutzt werden bis zur Haltestelle “Pérolles-Charmettes“. Der Fahrplan kann auf der Website der TPF (Transports Publics Fribourgeois) konsultiert werden.
