Jegi rock glacier consists of a rooting zone (2700m) and a body down to a first front (2550m) overriding a 150 m long second tongue located below. The rock glacier is located on a larger landslide developing mainly to the south of it. A large network of DGPS points covering the rock glacier and its surrounding area is measured twice a year since 2009.
