The library of the Faculty of Sciences (DOKPE) is located in the same building as the Geography Unit. Workstations, reading rooms and meeting rooms are available to the student (s). Journals are also available, the most recent numbers can even be found online (Intranet only!).

Internal Geography Library

The Geography Unit owns small library of student theses (TRP I and II, bachelor, master and PhD). These documents are mainly used by the Geography staff. However, students can also use them for reference in specific cases. These theses are archived on the second floor and can only be read on the spot in the presence of the librarian. Theses with a grade of 5.5 or higher can be found directly on the website of the Geography Unit under the tab “Publications”.

You can also find a catalogue of theses from the last 60 years at the following site:

These works are classified into themes and their descriptions can be found here (PDF).

Contact: For further details or requests, send an email to valentine.fasel[at] or directly visit the secretary of Geography (9:00-12:30 and 13:30-16:00: Monday/Tuesday morning/Wednesday/Thursday morning).
