The National Centre explores fundamental questions related to Swiss federalism, inter-cantonal law and comparative constitutional and administrative law. The main poles of activity are the following:

The National Centre works mainly with the Conference of Cantonal directors of Justice and Police (KKJPD), the ch foundation for Confederal Collaboration, and the Government of the Principality of Liechtenstein.
