Mentoring relationship

The Réseau romand mentoring programme offers a one-to-one mentoring exchange and four network meetings.

The contact with a mentor is established on an individual basis, according to the needs and aims specified in the application form and the preferences of the mentee.

To organize the mentoring exchange and to clarify the focus of discussions, the frequency of meetings and the goals of the mentoring exchange, mentee and mentor fill out a mentoring agreement, signed by both parties. In addition, the network coordination provides documentation about mentoring and may accompany the mentoring process if required.

Participants in the programme meet regularly to share their experience, relevant concerns and information. Through this networking process, the programme seeks to enhance the position of women researchers in the regional academic landscape of French and Italian-speaking Switzerland.
