The Réseau romand de mentoring pour femmes

The Réseau romand de mentoring pour femmes is a joint project of the Offices for Gender Equality of the universities of Fribourg, Geneva, Lausanne, Neuchâtel, Lugano and the EPFL. It is open to women researchers of these institutions.

The Réseau romand offers to mentees:

  • regular contact with a mentor in Switzerland or abroad
  • meetings with women sharing the same objectives
  • training workshops
  • a framework that adapts to the expectations and needs of participants
  • financial support for travel expenses

The number of researchers that can be accepted in the programme is currently limited to twenty-five.

The Réseau romand receives financial support from the Swiss National Science Foundation, the Swiss Federal Equal Opportunities at Universities Programme and the partner universities. Since 2001, the Réseau romand has successfully accomplished six programme cycles, as is shown by the results of regular evaluations of its offer.

Head of project: Helen Füger, University of Fribourg
Project coordinator: Muriel Besson, University of Fribourg
