A postdoctoral research associate in theoretical physics is searched for at the University of Manchester (UK). This is to work on an EPSRC-funded project on `Game theory and adaptive networks for smart evacuations'. The post is for up to two years, and can be filled from 1st October 2010. A later start date can be considered. The closing date for applications is 25th August 2010.

The Institute for New Economic Thinking (INET) is an organization created to promote changes in economic theory and practice through conferences, research grants, joint ventures with academic and research institutions and other education initiatives. INET awards Research Grants to individuals and institutions to pursue ground-breaking high-impact research in the field of economics and plans to award approximately 50 grants per year ranging in value from $30,000-$250,000.
