We have one opening for a postdoctoral research associate, who is expected to work on complex networks, and particularly on the problem of detecting clusters in multilevel graphs. The position is supported by Multiplex, grant number 317532 of the European Commission. The starting date of the position is November the 1st, 2012, but a later start might be negotiated, if necessary.

We have openings for several PhD students, who are expected to work on problems of complex systems at the interface between biology, physics, computer and social sciences. We are looking for strongly motivated people with good computing and English communication skills. They should have a background in physics, applied mathematics or computer science. Some knowledge of statistical physics, experience in data analysis and computer simulations would be of advantage.
