BENEFRI
An agreement between the Universities of Berne, Neuchâtel et Fribourg (BENEFRI Convention) allows students from one of the three universities to follow courses and pass the corresponding examinations in the other two partner universities.
The BENEFRI Institute of European Law has published s the modalities of recognition.

This possibility is also open to Erasmus students currently studying at Fribourg, thus permitting them to complete their study programme, especially in European Law, for as long as their home universities agree to this arrangement.
Application procedure
Students who wish to follow any BENEFRI courses must be registered. The application form, application deadlines, and other useful information are available on the web site www.unifr.ch/benefri.
When the application has been accepted, the student can follow the selected courses and sit the corresponding examinations.
Recognition of study achievements already accomplished
Students registered at the University of Fribourg should consult information given by the Commission of equivalent and published in a document entitled « Recognition of study achievements at the Universities of Berne and Neuchâtel within the framework of the BENEFRI convention covering Law studies » available on the web site of the Institute of European Law and also at the link « Recognition » in this section.
Students registered with the ERASMUS programme currently studying at Fribourg should transmit their results to the Erasmus and international Relations Office of the Faculty of Law so that their results can be appended to their attestation of grades.
Students registered at the Universities of Berne and Neuchâtel should consult the information made available at their respective home universities.
