The Fribourg Faculty of Law is the only bilingual law faculty in Switzerland. All courses are offered in French and German, and it is possible to study law in one language or in both languages. The Faculty provides a complete teaching program. Apart from studies of Swiss law, the Faculty lays great emphasis on international public law and on European law.
Fribourg emphasises all the latest study and teaching methods in addition to the classical courses. Already at the Bachelor level group projects, tutorials, block courses, interactive activities on the internet and written work play an important role. The Master program is almost exclusively dedicated to intensive courses, which combine the above methods with additional teaching methods.
