Apartis' goals

Apartis is a foundation of renting rooms to students with a non profit organisation’s status. Its main goal consists of giving the possibility to students – essentially from the University of Fribourg - to rent rooms in the city and the surroundings at a moderate rate. Apartis is recognized as a foundation following a public utility goal and benefits from a tax exemption.

In the medium and long term, its objective is to create enough housing where the price, terms of location and design meet t the best the needs of students.

Apartis ensures that the stability of rents, charges and administrative guarantees remain simple, effective and responsive to students.

Finance

Apartis is financed entirely by the income from its activities without any public garant.

Prior to 2000, the construction of Apartis buildings was financed partly with the help of the Swiss government and the Canton of Fribourg on the basis of the old law, "l'aide aux Universités (LAU)", which helped universities.

Our vision is to propose our customers nice price and high quality of accomodation, so they can enjoy their academical stay in the best conditions.

Our mission is clear: offer to our tenants the best housing at particularly low prices, relying on recent housing and top quality services.
