Proof of sufficient language skills in French or German

Proof of sufficient language skills in French or German can be demonstrated as follows:

• Mother language: French or German;
• Adequate language skills:
  • at the advanced secondary school level (at least half of the final examinations passed in French or German);
  • at university level (obtention of 90 ECTS credits in an academic degree programme where the official teaching language is French or German);
• Language diploma recognized by the University of Fribourg;
• A pass in the test demonstrating an aptitude to study in a foreign language (Language Test).

In order to be able to enrol for the language test you must be in possession of written confirmation from the Office of Admissions and Registration.
