Guest student: complementary studiesThe University of Fribourg offers students registered at another Swiss university the possibility to follow a limited number of courses and, if necessary, to submit written reports and sit the corresponding examinations. Deadline for an application for admission The deadlines for an application for admission to the University of Fribourg are the 30th September for the autumn semester and the 28th February for the spring semester. Conditions of admission In order to register as an guest student (complementary studies), you must be registered at another Swiss university. Procedure of application You fill out the application form (French or German) and send it to the Office for Admissions and Registration along with an attestation of matriculation at your home university within the official deadline. Limited status guest students (complementary studies) The status an guest student (complementary studies) can only be accorded for two semesters. An extension may be obtained from the faculty concerned. The application for admission is valid only for one semester. Semester tuition fee Guest students (complementary studies) are not required to pay the semester tuition fee. |
