Course Schedule

Lectures are held daily from 9:00am-12:00pm. The remainder of the time is allotted to research, reading and preparation.

Required reading

Readings for this course include two books and an extensive course reader (which must be purchased on-site).

Exams

All exams take place in class. Grades are final.

Midterm Exam: This one and a half hour exam consists of a number of short "fact checking" questions plus 2 to 3 longer essay questions.

Final Exam: This two hour exam consists of a number of short "fact checking" questions plus 3 to 4 longer essay questions.

Grades

Your midterm exam will account for 30% of your final grade. Your final exam will account for 50%, while your class participation will account for 20%. There is no paper requirement for this class. It is possible to take the course pass/no pass.
