A journal or diary is always a good idea.

You will generally find that the clothing you normally bring to college will be appropriate for Fribourg. While European styles will be found to be somewhat different, American fashions will certainly not be out of place. Your choices in dress may gradually assume a more indigenous look as the year goes by, but the articles you bring with you will provide a basic wardrobe. In any case, however, the most important rule in packing is to take less than you think you will need!
